Wills Associates Welcomes Chartered Surveyor Clare Richmond to the Team

Wills Associates is delighted to announce that Clare Richmond, MSc (Hons) MRICS, MCIOB, has joined their team as a Chartered Surveyor. Clare brings extensive experience and a diverse skill set to the firm.

Clare's career in property began after over a decade in various Government Departments. She transitioned to the private sector as a property manager while earning her degree in Building Surveying. Clare then focused on achieving her MRICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) chartership, which she successfully obtained in 2024 with a specialization in residential valuation, a key area for Wills Surveyors.

A Day in the Life and Career Highlights

Clare's daily work involves property valuations, detailed condition surveys, diagnosing defects, and managing projects. She enjoys the variety and challenge of her role, highlighting how it allows her to apply a wide range of skills. Her proudest achievement is earning her Chartership on the first attempt, a testament to her dedication and hard work in a demanding field.

Looking ahead, Clare aims to expand her experience in residential valuations and develop expertise in rural property valuation, including land and agricultural buildings.

Outside of Work

Outside of the office, Clare enjoys an active life in Trinity with her fiancé, their Belgian Malinois dog, two horses, and a pony. Having completed her studies, she's now focusing on her equestrian pursuits, particularly training and competing, and is excited about starting groundwork training with her 2-year-old horse.
