SRM Accountancy Celebrates Another Successful Year Sponsoring Jersey’s Leading Children's Golf Academy

SRM Accountancy is delighted to celebrate another successful year sponsoring Jersey’s largest Golf Academy for children. The partnership with PGA Professional Andrew Chamberlain has once again brought exciting opportunities for young golfers (aged 6-16) on the island, helping them develop both their athletic skills and personal growth.

This year’s Academy culminated in an end-of-season competition at Wheatlands Golf Course on Saturday, 21st September, where young golfers showcased the progress they’ve made over the past 24-week season. The event began at 3:00 pm, followed by a prize-giving ceremony at Longueville Golf Range at 7:30 pm, where participants were celebrated for their achievements. The tournament winner and 2024 Champion, who won Gold, was Teddy Millar. The runner-up and Silver Medal went to James Wilson-Viney, third place and Bronze to Marcel Marzec-Kasperck, and Highly Commended prizes were awarded to Hamish McCullough and Margot Hansford.

Reflecting on the event and the growth of the Academy, Andrew Chamberlain, Class AA/AAT PGA Professional, stated:
