Jersey Tree Strategy

May 10, 2022

The Jersey Tree Strategy has been published: Jersey Tree Strategy (gov.je)

The strategy, authored by ‘Dialogue Matters’, is the result of a wide range of community voices and stakeholders sharing their knowledge, perspectives and ideas, and follows public consultation and a series of stakeholder workshops.

This is a collaborative strategy, which sets out the principles of how Islanders can best work together to protect, maintain, manage, restore and enhance trees, hedgerows and woodland in Jersey. The work originates from the Carbon Neutral Strategy (2019).

The Jersey Tree Strategy proposes that a stakeholder “Sounding Board” is created and given the remit of providing strategic direction and prioritising the proposed actions.
