Company Description: Welcome to CLTSJersey (est. 2018)! We mainly offer private 1:1, 2:1 & 3:1 tuition in Spanish, French & English (Foreign/Second Language), personally tailoring lessons to suit individual learners. Currently, we tutor ages 9+ (School Year 5+) at our base in Trinity and can also tutor via Skype. 2:1 & 3:1 sessions may appeal to adult couples or child peers in the same School Year/Class and of a similar ability. We operate through 8 p.m. on most weekdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays and non-Term time weekday mornings. There is a free initial consultation/assessment meeting for every new client and special discount for groups & long-term clients. The Principal, Andrew Picot (BA Hons Spanish & French, PGCE, TESOL, IoLET), has 12+ years of experience in Teaching/Education & Administration, in both private & public sectors, both locally & abroad, and in both front and back office. Andrew is primarily an accomplished Educator who has worked in 5 Jersey schools. The progress and results/grades of his students, be they public or private schooled or homeschooled, educated locally or abroad, single sex or co-educational classes, lower or higher ability linguists, children or adults, are routinely excellent/outstanding. He is up-to-date with Modern Foreign Languages curricula/exam boards and the Common Entrance Exam. We also competitively offer professional translation/interpreting (French & Spanish into English) and proofreading/audio transcription (English) for both corporates & individuals. We have translated a range of material such as user guides, marketing brochures, criminal records checks, HR documents and websites for both local & off-island entities.
