Future Economy & Next Gen Leaders Committee

Future Economy & Next Gen Leaders Committee

The Future Economy & Next Gen Leaders Committee is new, started in Sept 2026. It brings together a diverse group of business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and next-generation voices with a shared ambition: to help shape Jersey’s future economy while attracting, retaining and developing Next Gen leaders who will drive it.

With a long-term vision towards 2036, the Committee will explore how Jersey can build a more innovative, inclusive, and future-ready economy that creates exciting career opportunities and compelling reasons for young people to build their futures on Island.

We will apply a strong diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) lens to everything we do, championing social mobility and working to ensure that opportunities are accessible to all young people and young adults, regardless of background or career pathways. We believe Jersey’s future prosperity depends on widening access to opportunity and enabling diverse talent to thrive.
