Winter 2026-27 launch with over 30 departures from the Channel Islands direct to Tenerife.

• FlyDirect to operate  an extended programme of direct flights to Tenerife from Jersey & Guernsey this coming winter.

Following another successful season of winter sun flights to Tenerife, FlyDirect have responded with the launch of an extended programme of flights for 2026-2027 and the announcement of a new carrier to operate the route.

Guernsey Airport’s Director, Richard Thomasson commented: “Building on last winter’s success of the Gran Canaria route, we are delighted to add Tenerife to the network operating for an extended period this year and into 2027. This will offer greater flexibility and choice with customers being able to fly direct from Guernsey to the Canary Islands.” 

Flights to Tenerife will operate on Saturdays, from Jersey and on Mondays from Guernsey, with a midafternoon departure. The flight time is approximately 4 hours. In addition to offering 7- & 14-night stays, on several dates longer durations are available as well as one-way flights for those seeking greater flexibility.
