Voisin Law Reinforces Market Position with Partner Appointment

Voisin Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Advocate Emily Paris-Hunter as Partner.  Advocate Paris-Hunter will lead the firm’s Property Department, reinforcing Voisin Law’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal advice across Jersey’s residential and commercial property market.

Advocate Paris-Hunter brings a strong track record in advising a broad range of commercial, institutional and private clients on complex development projects, commercial leasing, acting for lenders and borrowers on real estate financing, and high-value acquisitions and disposals (including freehold, flying freehold and share transfer transactions). She has extensive experience working on multi-unit developments, off-plan transactions and structuring arrangements for innovative property ownership models.

In her new role, Advocate Paris-Hunter will take forward Voisin’s well-established Property Department, overseeing a wide-ranging practice that advises local and international clients on all aspects of Jersey property law. Her focus will include ensuring the team’s continued delivery of clear, pragmatic advice, managing complex transactions, and maintaining the highest standards of client service across both residential and commercial matters.

This appointment comes at a significant moment for Voisin Law, as the firm celebrates one year in its La Motte Street offices - a milestone that reflects the firm’s modern, streamlined and forward-looking approach. Over the past year, the firm has strengthened its position as an independent, full-service Jersey law firm, built around a cohesive team with a clear focus on client experience.

Jeffrey Giovannoni, Principal Partner at Voisin Law, commented:

“Emily’s appointment is a key step in the continued evolution of our Property practice and our wider firm. She combines technical excellence with a genuinely commercial mindset and an ability to guide clients through complex transactions with clarity and assurance.

As we mark one year in our La Motte Street offices, this appointment underscores our ambition to provide a modern, responsive legal service delivered by a strong and collaborative team. We have been deliberate in shaping the firm’s culture and performance with client service firmly at its core, and Emily’s leadership will play an important role in that journey.”

Emily Paris-Hunter added:

“I am delighted to be joining Voisin Law at such an exciting point in its development. The firm’s emphasis on client service and its clear investment in people were key factors in my decision.

I am looking forward to working closely with the firm’s clients - whether individuals, investors or developers – to provide practical, commercially focused advice and to help deliver transactions smoothly and efficiently.”

Voisin Law continues to support private clients, businesses and institutions with a comprehensive range of legal services. With a focus on clarity, responsiveness and deep local expertise, the firm is committed to delivering a client experience that reflects both its heritage and its forward-thinking approach.
