Summer direct flights to Sardinia added to programme for 2027

After another successful summer of direct flights to Europe’s favourite holiday destinations, C. I. Travel Group has launched its FlyDirect 2027 summer flying programme and, for the first time, is offering Sardinia as a destination between May and August.

Between April and October 2027, FlyDirect will offer weekly flights to Majorca and Ibiza, Malaga on the Costa del Sol, Faro on Portugal’s Algarve coast and, new for 2027, Olbia in Sardinia — an Italian island of striking natural beauty, rich history and unique cultural identity, blending mountains, beaches and ancient traditions.

C. I. Travel Group is increasing capacity across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man following a steady rise in demand for direct flights, as well as the choice and financial protection offered by package holidays.

After introducing child discounts of between £50 and £200 per child on all flights last year, the company is pleased to offer them again, recognising that holidays are a significant expense for families. Discounts are also available for larger groups travelling together,including during the summer school holidays, while a wider choice of hotel accommodation is available to suit all budgets.

All flights from Jersey next summer will continue to be operated by FlyDirect’s partner airline BA CityFlyer, a subsidiary of British Airways, using Embraer 190 jet aircraft, which offer a high degree of comfort with a 2x2 seat configuration, generous 33" seat pitch, as well as 20kg of hold baggage and 10kg of cabin baggage.
