Small Items, Big Impact: How You Can Fuel Citizens Advice Jersey This Spring
As we head into the Spring of 2026, Citizens Advice Jersey is reaching out to the community with a unique request. Following a year of unprecedented demand, the Island’s largest independent charity is asking for a "meaningful" helping hand—one that can be found in your kitchen cupboard or office supply room.
Last year, the charity handled an "eyewatering" workload, supporting over 20,500 cases in 2025. This massive undertaking was managed by a dedicated team of over 30 volunteers and just 6 full-time staff. Despite being a cornerstone of Jersey’s social support system, the charity notes that its essential administrative needs are often overlooked.
The "Wish List" Campaign
To ensure that every penny of their fundraising goes directly toward vital client services and operational costs, the team is asking individuals and local businesses to donate everyday office and kitchen essentials.
By covering these small but frequent overheads, donors allow the charity to focus its financial resources on providing the independent, impartial advice that so many Islanders rely on.
Items currently needed include:
The "Power" Supplies: Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk.
Team Fuel: Biscuits and treats for the hardworking volunteers.
Office Essentials: Copier paper and Post-it notes.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, tissues, dishwasher tablets, disinfectant wipes/sprays, and air freshener.
How to Help
