ITHSCI Supports Macmillan Jersey with Technology Donation
ITHSCI, a Jersey-based IT asset management and disposal specialist, has supported Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey through the donation of five Microsoft tablets, helping to enhance the services they provide to the local community.
In a fittingly hands-on delivery, Stuart, Director of ITHSCI, cycled to the Chamber of Commerce lunch with the tablets in his backpack, presenting them to Head of Fundraising Kat Freeman ahead of the event.
Macmillan Jersey plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer across the island. Access to reliable technology is an important part of delivering that support, enabling improved communication, access to information, and day-to-day service delivery.
As part of its work, ITHSCI supports organisations with the secure disposal and reuse of IT equipment - ensuring devices are handled responsibly while also giving them a second life where possible.
The tablets were warmly received by Kat Freeman and the team and will be put to immediate use in supporting their work.
This initiative reflects ITHSCI’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and working with organisations that have a meaningful impact.
