Islanders invited to save on short break trips
DFDS has introduced a limited time offer to promote late summer trips lasting up to 72 hours from Jersey to Poole or St Malo.
The 20% discount is part of a campaign to promote tourism to Poole and St Malo, showcasing the ease and convenience of travel between the Channel Islands, UK and France.
Travellers can take advantage of flexible return schedules allowing them to travel to events such as St Malo’s La Route du Rock, the indie rock festival or to access the Arts by the Sea festival in Bournemouth.
Available to all passengers, whether on foot or taking a vehicle, the discount applies to standard ticket fares for both directions of travel, provided the return leg falls within three days of departure.
Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey at DFDS, said: “We wanted to give islanders the opportunity to take short breaks at less of a cost, it’s great for late bookers and spontaneous travellers looking for a quick and affordable escape during the summer season.”
Bookings can be made online or via the DFDS call centre and are valid for travel until the beginning of November.
