Getting Election Ready: States Greffe Outreach Initiatives
With just four months remaining until Jersey’s general election on Sunday, 7 June 2026, the States Greffe has launched a major education initiative to ensure every Islander is ready to head to the polls.
The Education and Outreach Team is opening the doors of the States Chamber to the public and offering bespoke presentations to local businesses, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how the Island’s laws are made and how the voting process works.
Behind-the-Scenes: Free Public Tours
Islanders are invited to join a series of free, one-hour interactive sessions held inside the States Chamber. These tours are designed to strip away the mystery of the States Assembly and explain the "what, why, where, and who" of the upcoming election.
All sessions are fact-based and strictly politically neutral. Whether you are a first-time voter or simply want to understand the system better, these tours offer a unique opportunity to ask questions in the very room where Jersey’s parliament debates.
Upcoming Tour Dates (Bookable via Eventbrite):

Saturday, 7 March: 10am – 11am
