Eliot Lincoln appointed Interim President of Jersey Chamber
A former President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce has returned to the role following his appointment at the business organisation’s Annual General Meeting. Eliot Lincoln, who previously served as Vice President and then President between 2015 and 2019, will serve as Interim President for one year.
Eliot had been Chamber’s Co-Vice President, and his appointment follows Lee Madden’s decision to stand down as President earlier this month. At the AGM, Chamber recorded its thanks and appreciation for Mr Madden’s dedication and hard work during his time as President and Vice President.
Darren Scott was confirmed as Vice President, while Claire Reynard was appointed Chair of the Employment and Skills Committee.
Eliot is a director of Helier Consulting, providing director services and change management support to clients, helping them get the best from their technology and people while navigating complex change. He was the winner of the 2012 Jersey IoD Director of the Year for a Medium-Sized Business and the 2012 UK National Young Director of the Year.
Darren is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ferryspeed Group and has been a senior leader across both the public and private sectors, including roles as Chief of Staff at Ports of Jersey and Director of Partnerships at the Government of Jersey.
Claire had previously been the Interim Chair of the Employment and Skills Committee and is the Group Human Resources Manager for Seymour Hotels. She is also an Ambassador for the Jersey Employment Trust, which plays a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities and other challenges to find meaningful work.
