Cherry Godfrey Group Welcomes New Non-Executive Director

Cherry Godfrey Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicholas (Nick) Bender as a Non-Executive Director in Guernsey on the Group’s Board. 

Nick brings more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry. He began his Professional Indemnity Insurance career in the late 1980s with Nelson Hurst & Marsh, a pioneer in the field of negligence insurance protection. In 2001, he co-founded MGB Insurance Brokers Limited, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the company as one of the UK’s leading independent wholesale brokers, specialising in Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Financial Lines insurance.

Having worked closely with Cherry Godfrey’s Guernsey and Jersey offices for almost 20 years, Nick now joins the Group’s Board, bringing his deep understanding of the London Insurance Market and strong industry relationships to further strengthen the Board and support the company’s continued growth across its core jurisdictions.
