Cherry Godfrey appoints Bill Tatnall as Head of Property Management

Cherry Godfrey has announced the appointment of Bill Tatnall as Head of Property Management, as the business continues to strengthen its team and invest in the growth of its property offering in Guernsey.

Bill brings extensive leadership and customer service experience to the role, alongside previous experience within Guernsey’s building and construction sector. Having lived and worked on the island for many years, he has built a strong reputation for developing successful teams, building lasting relationships and delivering high standards of service.

His appointment comes at an important stage in the development of Cherry Godfrey Property, with significant potential to grow its large managed portfolio across both residential property and block management. Bill will play a key role in overseeing this growing portfolio, while further strengthening the professional, relationship-led service provided to clients. It also comes also comes at a time of continued activity within Guernsey’s rental market, with almost 20% more properties let during the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year, while demand continues to outstrip the supply of available rental properties across both the Local and Open Markets.

Bill’s career has spanned a number of industries. Originally working as an electrician, he went on to build extensive experience in management and customer service. His move to Cherry Godfrey Property brings together his both his property knowledge AND leadership experience. 

Alongside the day-to-day management of the portfolio, Bill will also support the increasing number of property projects undertaken for clients, helping to coordinate work across the team and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, to a high standard and within agreed timescales and budgets. His practical experience will further strengthen the technical expertise already within the team and help provide clients with a seamless service from day-to-day management through to more involved property works.
