Better Business Grant reopens on 31 January
Jersey businesses looking to invest in their future can apply for a new round of funding as the Better Business Grant application portal officially reopens on 31 January 2026.
The grant is a key component of the Government of Jersey’s £20m Better Business Support Package, an initiative designed to assist local employers as they navigate the transition to a living wage. With £5.3m specifically allocated for 2026, the funding aims to bolster the island’s economy by supporting four critical areas:
Productivity: Helping businesses streamline operations and efficiency.
Skills & Training: Investing in the professional development of the local workforce.
Visitor Economy: Encouraging growth and innovation within the tourism sector.
Apprenticeships: Providing essential support for those entering new trades and professions.
Whether you are looking to upskill your team or modernise your business model, this grant offers a vital opportunity to secure financial backing for long-term growth. Eligible businesses are encouraged to prepare their applications ahead of the portal opening at the end of the month.
