The Digital Committee represents and articulates the views of the Jersey business community when it comes to digital innovation. We are thought leaders, we encourage debate and seek to maximise the economic growth of the Island’s growing digital sector.

One of the priorities for this committee is to represent and articulate the views of the predominately SME business community. We champion the value of digital innovation and encourage digital business. We help to promote an understanding of how important this dynamic sector is in contributing to the economic growth of the island.

CHAIR DIGITAL BUSINESS COMMITTEE

Dan is a proud Jerseyman with over 10 years of experience in the Digital industry, specifically Telecommunications, where he specialised in delivering Technical and Transformative change.

Dan's journey through the Jersey educational system, culminating in an IT for Business Foundation Degree at Highlands and an Honours Degree in Computing from Plymouth University, showcases a less common approach to higher education by remaining on the island. This path highlights why the Digital Committee's agenda for a robust and 'right-fit' Digital curriculum resonates so strongly.

After a great tenure at JT, Dan has recently embarked on a new journey with Island Energy Group holding the Head of New Ventures position. This position will allow Dan to directly contribute towards the energy transition and reduce the carbon footprint across Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man.

Outside of professional life, Dan has recently become a Dad (which he is embracing!) and, aside from a bit of Mountain Biking or Padel Tennis, enjoys spare time with his young family preferably down the beach.
