Orchard PR Creates Video Highlighting Island's Widening Gender Pay Gap

Orchard was proud to lend its services to the Gender Pay Gap group, producing them a short video to highlight the issues associated with the existing gap and the discrimination that touches most sectors on the island surrounding women’s role in the workplace. Jersey’s gender pay gap was recorded in 2023 as 14.7%, in comparison to the UK’s 7.7% with the gap widening as women grow older in their careers.
The PR agency collaborated with Slingshot Films to encourage more individuals and businesses to collect data, publish their reporting, and to influence policy and legislation on the subject.
