New Chair Appointed for Jersey Chamber Employment & Skills Committee

The Employment & Skills Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Norton as its new Chair. Anna brings a wealth of experience in business leadership and Human Resources Management to the role.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Virtual HR, Anna specialises in advising and supporting businesses across a diverse range of sectors. Her strong operational background and passion for effective people management make her a valuable asset to the committee.

With a Diploma in Human Resources Management and a membership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Anna has a proven track record of success in the HR field. Her contributions have earned her recognition, including a shortlist for the CIPD Jersey Branch award for Outstanding HR Professional of the Year and nominations for the IoD Director of the Year awards.

Anna is excited to lead the knowledgeable team on the Employment & Skills Committee. She believes her commercial insight, approachable style, and dedication to supporting Jersey businesses will be invaluable in her new role.

The Employment & Skills Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that Members have a voice on important employment and skills issues. The committee consults with various private and government bodies throughout the year to gather insights and provide feedback on topics such as anti-discrimination laws, changes to employment law, minimum wage, and tribunal procedures.
