Arriving passengers remind to pre-register before travelling

Mar 01, 2021

Passengers reminded to pre-register travel details prior to travelling

Ports of Jersey is once again reminding all passengers that they must continue to pre-register their travel details prior to arriving into the Island and have their QR codes ready to present to the medical team upon arrival.

Passenger Services & Security Manager for Ports of Jersey, Maria Le Tiec, explains: “We’re still seeing a number of passengers arriving into the Island and the PCR testing process is continuing to go well. However, some passengers are still unaware of the need to pre-register or believe they no longer must do so. We’d like to reiterate that the pre-register process still applies to all arriving passengers and would urge them to do so prior to travelling to ensure that when they get here their time through the airport remains as smooth and as quick as possible. We’re therefore asking the wider community to help relay this message to friends or family who may be returning to the Island.’

To pre-register, passengers should click on www.gov.je/jerseytravel and follow the applicable links. Passengers must submit their personal details, together with a declaration of health, recent countries visited prior to departure, whether they have Covid-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who is infected.
