Tuesday update from Chamber
In Chamber news, we continued today talking to Government, our good friends in the Parish of St Helier, The Economic Affairs Scrutiny Panel and several businesses in hospitality and in estate agency work.
There are still concerns on some of the changes to the co-funding on reduced thresholds on the monthly salary and self-employed co-funding limits. Also seeking clarity on applying for an exemption to the 20% employer funding, due to contractual reductions arising from hour or pay rate negotiations. We do have excellent staff in Government working on our questions and we will get these and other questions over to them to resolve the queries as quickly as we can.
