New catering partner sought for restaurant at Elizabeth Terminal

Nov 05, 2020

Ports of Jersey is seeking a catering partner to manage the Shipyard Restaurant at St Helier Harbour’s Elizabeth Terminal and has launched an online ‘Invitation to Tender’ process.

The restaurant and other catering outlets at Jersey Airport were previously operated by catering franchise, Casual Dining Group (CDG), which ceased trading in July 2020 as a result of the current Covid pandemic. Since then local company, JPRestaurants has stepped in to provide a provide a food and beverage service at Jersey Airport under its popular grab & go Café Ubé brand. However, due to restricted public access to the Elizabeth Terminal it hasn’t been possible to provide a similar offering at the harbour, which was the original intention.

The tender is open to all interested catering operators, who must register and apply online at https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=4060c89b-9217-eb11-8105-005056b64545&fromProjectDashboard=True

The online application will be open until Monday 30 November 2020.
