Havre des Pas - Highway Maintenance and Traffic Calming Work

Dec 03, 2021

Infrastructure, Housing and Environment plan to undertake essential highway maintenance work on Havre des Pas.

The resurfacing work has been combined with the installation of additional road drainage, two raised tables and a raised table junction at Green Street.

The scheme will commence on Monday 1Oth January 2Q22 for a duration of seven weeks, weather permitting. The road will remain closed to through traffic for the duration of the works. Where possible access will be maintained for residents and businesses. Should access not be possible, alternative parking will be arranged.

A signed diversion will be in place for the duration of the project. Further details regarding the proposed diversion, phasing of work, location of proposed raised tables and proposed traffic management will be available on the website from 1st December at www.qov.ie/travel/roads.

It is anticipated that delays will be likely within the local area and, if possible, people are urged to avoid the area. Businesses are encouraged to (if appropriate) permit staff to work from home during the work, however we appreciate this is not an option available to all organisations.

If there are any queries on the proposed work or you require any clarification, please contact Daniel Gough (during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday) on Tel 07816 164685 or via email on Dan.Gouqh@wsp.com who will be happy to assist.
