Statistics Jersey have today published the first results from the 2021 Census.
A census of the population of Jersey was held on 21 March 2021 and was conducted by Statistics Jersey. The Jersey Census takes place once every decade and gives us the most accurate and up-to-date estimate of the number of people and households in Jersey as well as providing a detailed picture of Jersey today.
This initial release covers the overall population and its characteristics. Further census bulletins will be released in due course.
