Inspiring Active Places Strategy reminder

Apr 12, 2021

Islanders are being reminded that they have just three weeks left to take part in the online consultation for the Inspiring Active Places Strategy.

The Government is encouraging Islanders to take part in the overhaul of sports and wellbeing facilities in Jersey, and since its launch, around 500 surveys have already been completed, but the Government is keen to hear the voices of as many people as possible.

Assistant Minister for Economic Development with Responsibility for Sport, Deputy Hugh Raymond said: "Sport plays a vital role in Island life and it is important for Islanders to have their say on the future of sporting venues and health facilities and this strategy provides an excellent starting point for discussion.

"I would, therefore, encourage all Islanders to read about the plans and complete the online survey, so we can ensure our plans take into account the needs of Islanders."

The online consultation can be accessed through www.inspiringactiveplaces.je.
