Public Inquiry into Our Hospital Plans

Nov 29, 2021

The Minister for the Environment has called a public inquiry into the planning application to develop the Overdale site for the Our Hospital project.

A Ministerial Decision, signed by Deputy John Young, also appoints Philip Staddon BSc, Dip, MBA (Distinction), MRTPI as the inspector to conduct the inquiry.

The inspector will begin preparing the timetable for the inquiry and this will be published in due course. This will include information about how the public and key stakeholders can engage with the programme.

Deputy Young said: “I am pleased to appoint Philip Staddon as the inspector for the inquiry. I know that his years of experience, especially with planning matters in Jersey, will ensure that the process is robust and comprehensive. I look forward to receiving his report in 2022.”
