Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA) is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join the organisation as Executive Director. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the impact and direction of Jersey’s largest international aid programme, overseeing an annual budget of over £20 million in development and humanitarian projects and a portfolio of active programmes of over £50 million.
Accountable to the six Commissioners jointly comprising the Jersey Overseas Aid Commission, the Executive Director will lead JOA’s strategic initiatives, drive effective resource management, and build partnerships to advance the organisation’s mission. We are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong background in international development, governance or finance experience, and a passion for global humanitarian work.
