Jersey Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Briefing, in conjunction with the Retail & Supply Committee and Digital Committee, kindly sponsored by Jersey Post, on Technology Adoption within the Retail Sector.

This Chamber Breakfast Briefing will discuss the use of technology adoption within the retail sector specifically, and how retailers in Jersey are adopting digital technology to remain competitive and to deliver impact, whilst providing the best customer service and bricks and mortar experience in conjunction with scaling up digital capabilities.

There will be a panel of local business speakers offering an overview of their digital adoption and benefits and challenges in doing so.

Panellists will include:

Flo Aranda - Sales Director at Randalls. Flo headed up the creation of Randalls two websites, including the newly launched Randalls Drinks Shops which was launched during Covid. Flo will describe the digital journey the company has taken so far, the issues encountered, how they navigated it and how it changed their retail business.

Gerald Voisin - Owner of Voisins Department Store. Gerald will discuss the digital technology Voisins has adopted, the successes and challenges, and their digital objectives of the future as they build operations both online and in store.

Tim de Gruchy - Head of Business Services at Jersey Post. In recent years Jersey Post has made significant investments internally, in businesses, joint ventures and start-ups to support a strategic objective of diversification. Tim is responsible for supporting the business service delivery across the Jersey Post Group that now has operations and interests in Jersey, UK, Europe, USA, Australia, China and Hong Kong.

The event will finish with a Q&A with questions taken from the audience to be put to our panel.

A light buffet breakfast will be served on arrival.
